Inviaworld is an independent editorial travel guide. We publish free, practical guides to individual streets around the world, followed from beginning to end.

The name has two roots. In Italian, via means street, and in via evokes being out on the street. In Latin, in via means being on the way. Together they describe how we like to see the world: on foot, one street at a time.

Our Mission & Values

Instead of another list of the ten things you must see, we choose one street and help you experience it well: where to pause, what to notice, where to have a coffee and which side lanes deserve a detour.

• Slowness. A single walkable route reveals more than a rushed day of transfers.
• Respect. Many beautiful streets are homes. We encourage quiet visits, considerate photography and attention to local customs.
• Usefulness. Every guide aims to save you time and help you understand a place.

Editorial Approach

Each guide follows the same structure: an overview, a sequence of stops, food suggestions, detours and practical tips. We prefer long-established places and describe types of food or venues when specific details are uncertain. Measurements and walking times are approximate. Opening hours, ticketing and access rules change, so we always encourage readers to check official sources before visiting.

We do not accept payment for inclusion in a guide.
